Now that you've applied a ceramic coating to your vehicle, proper maintenance is the key to keeping it looking and performing its best. A quality ceramic coating delivers incredible gloss, outstanding slickness, and impressive hydrophobic performance, but it isn't maintenance-free. Like any premium finish, it performs best when it's properly cared for.

The most important part of ceramic coating aftercare is keeping the coated surface clean and free of contaminants. Dirt, road film, bug residue, bird droppings, tree sap, pollen, mineral deposits, and other environmental contamination gradually build up on the surface. Left unattended, these contaminants reduce gloss, interfere with water beading, make the finish feel less slick, and can eventually shorten the effective life of the ceramic coating. Regular washing is the foundation of every successful ceramic coating maintenance routine.

Just as important as regular washing is using products specifically designed for ceramic-coated surfaces. Standard car care products may clean the vehicle, but they aren't formulated to support ceramic coatings.
